Two Opportunities for Citizen Input

Monday evening, December 13 at 7 PM at the Riverview Middle School (enter door #1) will be an public informational meeting regarding the Etna Avenue improvement project.    The scope of this improvement project includes rehabilitation of the street, improved storm drainage, and sidewalks.  More complete information is available through the City Engineer’s office on the second floor of the City Building.

Tuesday evening, December 14 at 7 PM at the City Council Chambers (third floor of City Building) will be an important meeting pertaining to the administration’s proposal to abolish the Park Board.   This agenda item will stimulate lots of discussion and debate — as it should.   We need to be thinking long-term about our parks and carefully weigh any short-term “fixes” that may compromise our ability to add value to the quality of life we enjoy in Huntington.

Hope to see you there — Let’s move forward!
